The digital health space is designed and implemented under the joint responsibility of the Minister for Health and the Caisse nationale de l’assurance maladie.
The Minister for Health is responsible for steering and organising the listing of digital services and tools described in sub-section 5.
The Caisse nationale de l’assurance maladie is responsible for the development, deployment, hosting under the conditions set out in article L. 1111-8 and support for users of the digital health space, as well as the implementation of the digital portal enabling the submission and processing of referencing requests governed by articles R. 1111-37 to R. 1111-39.
The Minister for Health and the Caisse nationale de l’assurance maladie shall carry out these tasks in accordance with practical procedures defined by an agreement which, pursuant to Article 26 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, defines their respective obligations.
The public interest group referred to in Article L. 1111-24 shall contribute, where necessary, to operations to verify that the digital services and tools made available in the digital health space comply with the interoperability and security guidelines referred to in Article L. 1470-5 and the ethical commitment guidelines referred to in the second paragraph of Article L. 1111-13-2.
