Article R1111-48 of the French Public Health Code

The holder is informed of his right to object to access to his shared medical record by a professional in the emergency situations provided for in I of article L. 1111-17. In the absence of opposition from the holder, in such situations, the healthcare professionals mentioned in I of article L. 1111-17 will access the shared medical record. The holder and his/her attending doctor are informed of this access a posteriori and in electronic form.

Le titulaire est informé de son droit de s’opposer à l’accès à son dossier médical partagé par un professionnel dans les situations d’urgence prévues au I de l’article L. 1111-17. En l’absence d’opposition du titulaire, dans de telles situations, les professionnels de santé mentionnés au I de l’article L. 1111-17 accèdent au dossier médical partagé. Le titulaire et son médecin traitant sont informés de cet accès a posteriori et de façon dématérialisée.
