Article R1114-38 of the French Public Health Code

The Union nationale’s budget is approved by the General Meeting, on the recommendation of the Board of Directors, in accordance with the procedures set out in its articles of association and internal regulations.

Each year, the Union nationale allocates to the regional unions, in accordance with a distribution key voted each year at the General Meeting which takes into account, in particular, the number of inhabitants and public health indicators, the appropriations allocated for carrying out the missions provided for in the second paragraph of article R. 1114-32, in accordance with the budgetary terms and procedures laid down by its articles of association and internal regulations.

For their regional and local actions mentioned in the third paragraph of article R. 1114-32, the regional unions may receive funding from the regional health agencies under the regional intervention fund provided for in article L. 1435-8 or from local authorities.

Le budget de l’Union nationale est approuvé par l’assemblée générale, sur proposition du conseil d’administration, selon les modalités précisées par ses statuts et son règlement intérieur.

L’Union nationale alloue chaque année aux unions régionales, selon une clef de répartition votée annuellement en assemblée générale qui tient compte notamment du nombre d’habitants et d’indicateurs de santé publique, les crédits attribués pour l’exercice des missions prévues au deuxième alinéa de l’article R. 1114-32, selon des modalités et procédures budgétaires fixées par ses statuts et son règlement intérieur.

Pour leurs actions régionales et locales mentionnées au troisième alinéa de l’article R. 1114-32, les unions régionales peuvent recevoir des financements provenant des agences régionales de santé au titre du fonds d’intervention régional prévu à l’article L. 1435-8 ou des collectivités territoriales.
