Article R1123-69 of the French Public Health Code

When research involving the human person is conducted in a health establishment, the sponsor must inform the director of the establishment in advance of the research, for information purposes:

1° The title of the research ;

2° The identity of the investigator(s) and the location(s) concerned in the establishment;

3° The date on which it is planned to start the research and its expected duration;

4° The elements of the protocol and, if applicable, any other useful information concerning the management of the products tested or used as a reference within the framework of the research.

The sponsor must send the director of the establishment any updates to the information initially submitted.

Article R1123-69

Lorsqu’une recherche impliquant la personne humaine est conduite dans un établissement de santé, le promoteur fait connaître préalablement au directeur de l’établissement, pour information :

1° Le titre de la recherche ;

2° L’identité du ou des investigateurs et le ou les lieux concernés dans l’établissement ;

3° La date à laquelle il est envisagé de commencer la recherche et la durée prévue de celle-ci ;

4° Les éléments du protocole et, le cas échéant, toutes autres informations utiles concernant la prise en charge des produits expérimentés ou utilisés comme référence dans le cadre de la recherche.

Le promoteur transmet au directeur de l’établissement les mises à jour des informations transmises initialement.
