Article R114-5 of the French Sports Code

Elections to the Board of Directors of the members referred to in 4° of article R. 114-4 shall be by single-ballot uninominal ballot. Each candidate is accompanied by a substitute.

In the event of a tie, the oldest candidate is elected.

Votes may be cast by post or by proxy.

An order issued by the Minister for Sport specifies the conditions for exercising the right to vote and stand for election and the rules applicable to the conduct of the ballot.

Les élections au conseil d’administration des membres mentionnés au 4° de l’article R. 114-4 ont lieu au scrutin uninominal à un tour. Chaque candidature est accompagnée de celle d’un suppléant.


En cas d’égalité du nombre de suffrages obtenus, le candidat le plus âgé est élu.


Le vote peut avoir lieu par correspondance ou par procuration.


Un arrêté du ministre chargé des sports précise les conditions d’exercice du droit de suffrage et d’éligibilité et les règles applicables au déroulement des scrutins.
