Article R121-5 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The Board of Directors of the French Office for Immigration and Integration comprises, in addition to its Chairman and two Members of Parliament appointed one by the National Assembly and the other by the Senate, fifteen members:
1° Eight members representing the State:
a) the representative of the Minister for Immigration;
b) the representative of the Minister for Integration;
c) the representative of the Minister for Employment;
d) the representative of the Minister for Foreign Affairs;
e) the representative of the Minister for Social Affairs;
f) the representative of the Minister for Higher Education;
g) the representative of the Minister for Health;
h) the representative of the Minister for the Budget;
2° Two staff representatives elected under the conditions set by the Chapter II of Title II of Law no. 83-675 of 26 July 1983 relating to the democratisation of the public sector, with the exception of the provisions relating to the duration of their term of office, which is three years;
3° Five qualified individuals appointed by the ministers responsible for immigration and integration on the basis of their experience in the Office’s areas of expertise.

Article R121-5

Le conseil d’administration de l’Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration comprend, outre son président et deux parlementaires désignés l’un par l’Assemblée nationale et l’autre par le Sénat, quinze membres :
1° Huit membres représentant l’Etat :
a) le représentant du ministre chargé de l’immigration ;
b) le représentant du ministre chargé de l’intégration ;
c) le représentant du ministre chargé de l’emploi ;
d) le représentant du ministre chargé des affaires étrangères ;
e) le représentant du ministre chargé des affaires sociales ;
f) le représentant du ministre chargé de l’enseignement supérieur ;
g) le représentant du ministre chargé de la santé ;
h) le représentant du ministre chargé du budget ;
2° Deux représentants du personnel élus dans les conditions fixées par le chapitre II du titre II de la loi n° 83-675 du 26 juillet 1983 relative à la démocratisation du secteur public, à l’exception des dispositions relatives à la durée de leur mandat, qui est de trois ans ;
3° Cinq personnalités qualifiées désignées par les ministres chargés de l’immigration et de l’intégration en raison de leur expérience dans les domaines de compétences de l’office.
