The members of the Board of Directors of the Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration mentioned in 3° of article R. 121-5 are appointed for a period of three years, renewable once, by joint order of the Minister for Immigration and the Minister for Integration.Each member of the Board of Directors, with the exception of qualified individuals, has an alternate designated and appointed under the same conditions.

Any vacancy, for whatever reason, or loss of the capacity in respect of which the members of the Board of Directors of the French Office of Immigration and Integration have been appointed, shall give rise to a replacement under the same conditions, within two months of the vacancy occurring, for the remainder of the term of office.

As part of the tasks set out in Article L. 121-3, the Board of Directors of the French Office for Immigration and Integration deliberates on:1° The general organisational and operational conditions of the establishment, and in particular the opening and closing of the territorial departments in France and the representations abroad;2° The missions and location of the territorial departments and its representations abroad;3° The draft contract of objectives and performance…

The Board of Directors of the Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration issues an opinion on the draft decrees provided for in article R. 711-3 concerning the conditions for granting and the amount of assisted return.

The Board of Directors of the French Office for Immigration and Integration may delegate some of its powers mentioned in 11° and 12° of Article R. 121-9 to the Director General, under the conditions it determines. The Director General shall report to the Board of Directors, at its next meeting, on the decisions he has taken by virtue of this delegation.

For the adoption of the amending resolutions provided for in 4° of article R. 121-9 and those relating to building leases provided for in 9° of the same article, recourse to a procedure for consulting the members of the Board of Directors of the French Office for Immigration and Integration by videoconference may be decided by the Chairman when the urgency requires it.The Board of Directors is required to submit…

The Board of Directors of the French Office for Immigration and Integration may only validly deliberate if at least half of its full or alternate members are present or represented.If the quorum is not reached, the Board is reconvened on the same agenda within a maximum of fifteen days. It will then deliberate without a quorum being required.
