The Advisory Committee on the Assessment of Charges is convened by the chairman of its plenary session, who sets the agenda and sends it to the interested members of the committee at least ten days before the date of the meeting.
The meeting notice may be sent by any means, including fax or e-mail. The same applies to any papers or documents required for the preparation of the meeting or drawn up following the meeting.
The commission may only validly deliberate if the number of members present is at least equal to half the number of members required to deliberate.
If this number is not reached, a new notice is sent to the members of the commission under the conditions provided for in the first paragraph. The committee may then deliberate regardless of the number of members present.
The committee’s deliberations will be recorded in minutes, signed by the committee chairman.
The committee may ask ministers or local authorities for any document it deems useful. At their request, or at the request of its chairman or the majority of its members, the commission will hear representatives of the minister responsible for one of the areas of responsibility in which there is an increase or decrease in costs for local and regional authorities and their groupings.
The commission’s deliberations will be recorded in minutes signed by the commission’s chairman.
