Article R1227-3 of the French Labour Code

Failure to inform the public employment service of recruitment or termination of an employment contract, in disregard of the provisions of article L. 1221-16 and the order issued for its application, is punishable by a fourth-class fine.

Le fait de ne pas informer le service public de l’emploi d’une embauche ou de la rupture d’un contrat de travail, en méconnaissance des dispositions de l’article L. 1221-16 et de l’arrêté pris pour son application, est puni de l’amende prévue pour les contraventions de la quatrième classe.
