Article R123-63 of the French Commercial code

A registered legal entity that opens a secondary establishment shall apply for secondary registration under the conditions set out in article R. 123-41.

However, this obligation does not apply to the legal entities mentioned in 4° and 5° of article L. 123-1 which are designated by order of the Minister of Justice, the Minister responsible for industrial property and the Minister responsible for the supervision of the legal entity.

Toute personne morale immatriculée qui ouvre un établissement secondaire demande son immatriculation secondaire dans les conditions prévues à l’article R. 123-41.

Toutefois, cette obligation n’est pas applicable aux personnes morales mentionnées aux 4° et 5° de l’article L. 123-1 qui sont désignées par arrêté du garde des sceaux, ministre de la justice, du ministre chargé de la propriété industrielle et du ministre chargé du contrôle de la personne morale.
