Article R1233-10 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The date for the election of staff representatives to the Social Administration Committee is that set for the general renewal of civil service bodies. The term of office of the staff representatives is reduced or extended accordingly.

At least six months before the date of the election, the arrangements for the organisation and running of the electoral operations shall be the subject of consultation with the trade union organisations mentioned in article L. 211-1 of the General Civil Service Code and those mentioned in article L. 2314-5 of the Labour Code.

La date de l’élection des représentants du personnel au sein du comité social d’administration est celle fixée pour le renouvellement général des instances de la fonction publique. La durée du mandat des représentants du personnel est réduite ou prorogée en conséquence.

Au moins six mois avant la date de l’élection, les modalités d’organisation et de déroulement des opérations électorales donnent lieu à concertation avec les organisations syndicales mentionnées à l’article L. 211-1 du code général de la fonction publique et celles mentionnées à l’article L. 2314-5 du code du travail.
