Article R1234-11 of the French Labour Code

Temporary employment agencies, for their employees holding an assignment contract, and intermediary associations, for their employees hired under a fixed-term employment contract with a view to being made available, may only provide the certificates and evidence mentioned in article R. 1234-9 at the employee’s request, on condition that the employment contract mentions the employee’s right to obtain these documents without delay from the day on which the contract expires.

Les entreprises de travail temporaire, pour leurs salariés titulaires d’un contrat de mission, et les associations intermédiaires, pour leurs salariés embauchés en contrat de travail à durée déterminée en vue d’être mis à disposition, peuvent ne remettre les attestations et justifications mentionnées à l’article R. 1234-9 que sur demande du salarié, à la condition que le contrat de travail mentionne le droit pour le salarié d’obtenir sans délai ces documents dès le jour d’expiration du contrat.
