Article R1311-10 of the French Public Health Code

Skin-invasive tattooing may only be carried out using tattooing products that comply with the provisions of Articles L. 513-10-1 to L. 513-10-10.

The rods used during initial piercing until healing and the rods used after healing comply with the provisions of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 (REACH), and the orders provided for in 1° of II of Article L. 521-6 of the Environmental Code.

Un tatouage par effraction cutanée ne peut être réalisé qu’avec des produits de tatouage respectant les dispositions prévues par les articles L. 513-10-1 à L. 513-10-10.

Les tiges utilisées lors d’un perçage initial jusqu’à cicatrisation et les tiges utilisées après cicatrisation sont conformes aux dispositions du règlement (CE) n° 1907/2006 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 18 décembre 2006 (REACH), et aux arrêtés prévus au 1° du II de l’article L. 521-6 du code de l’environnement.
