Pledges of the right to use software are entered in the special National Software Register kept by the National Institute of Industrial Property.
Included therein for each piece of software are:
1° The identity of the holder of the right referred to in Article L. 122-6 and of the pledgee, as well as any changes relating to their surname, forenames, company name, legal form, domicile or registered office;
2° Indication of the elements likely to enable the software to be identified, such as the name, trademark, designation of the source code, operating documents and updates, as well as any other characteristic of the software and, where applicable, the references of a deposit ;
3° The deed constituting the pledge on all or part of the right to use the software;
4° Acts modifying the ownership or enjoyment of the right to use;
5° Acts modifying the rights of the pledged creditor;
6° Legal claims and final court decisions when they relate to the rights, subject of the pledge contract;
7° Rectifications of material errors affecting the registrations.
