Article R1322-36 of the French Public Health Code

The materials used for packaging natural mineral water, within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 October 2004 on materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs, are treated or manufactured and used in such a way as to avoid altering the chemical, microbiological and organoleptic characteristics of the water.

Les matériaux utilisés pour le conditionnement de l’eau minérale naturelle, au sens du règlement (CE) n° 1935/2004 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 27 octobre 2004 concernant les matériaux et objets destinés à entrer en contact avec les denrées alimentaires, sont traités ou fabriqués et utilisés de manière à éviter que les caractéristiques chimiques, microbiologiques et organoleptiques de l’eau ne s’en trouvent altérées.
