Article R133-19-1 of the French Tourism Code

Notwithstanding the last paragraph of article R. 133-19, when the Tourist Office is set up in the form of a local public company whose articles of association require each director of the company to represent part of the share capital, the representatives of the professions and activities involved in tourism in the municipality or in the territory of the inter-municipal public cooperation body sit on the Management Board or on a technical committee responsible for formulating opinions for the directors.

The deliberation of the municipal council or the deliberative body of the public establishment for inter-municipal cooperation sets the number of members representing professions and activities interested in tourism within the relevant body of the local public company.

Article R133-19-1

Par dérogation au dernier alinéa de l’article R. 133-19, lorsque l’office de tourisme est constitué sous la forme d’une société publique locale dont les statuts imposent que chaque administrateur de la société représente une partie du capital social, les représentants des professions et activités intéressées par le tourisme dans la commune ou sur le territoire de l’établissement public de coopération intercommunale siègent au sein du directoire ou d’un comité technique chargé de formuler des avis destinés aux administrateurs.

La délibération du conseil municipal ou de l’organe délibérant de l’établissement public de coopération intercommunale fixe le nombre des membres représentant les professions et activités intéressées par le tourisme au sein de l’organe concerné de la société publique locale.
