Article R1333-3 of the French Public Health Code

It is prohibited to import from a country outside the European Union, to export from the European Union, to distribute or to use consumer goods, foodstuffs, construction products or animal feed that do not comply with the prohibitions set out in article R. 1333-2 that apply to them.

Article R1333-3

Sont interdites l’importation depuis un pays tiers à l’Union européenne, l’exportation hors de l’Union européenne, la distribution ou l’utilisation de biens de consommation, de denrées alimentaires, de produits de construction ou d’aliments pour animaux ne respectant pas les interdictions énoncées à l’article R. 1333-2 qui leur sont applicables.
