Article R1335-17 of the French Public Health Code

I. – Collective water misting systems are supplied directly with water from a water distribution network intended for human consumption which has not undergone any heat treatment.

II. – If it is not possible to connect to a water supply intended for human consumption, the system is supplied by a water supply that complies with the conditions defined in articles R. 1321-2 and R. 1321-3 throughout the period of use of the collective misting system.

III. – It is forbidden to add any substance, mixture of substances or commercial preparation to the water supplied to the collective water misting system in order to alter its physico-chemical or microbiological quality, or its olfactory and visual properties, with the exception of products for treating water intended for human consumption used under the conditions defined in article R. 1321-50.

Article R1335-17

I. – Les systèmes collectifs de brumisation d’eau sont alimentés directement par de l’eau provenant d’un réseau de distribution d’eau destinée à la consommation humaine n’ayant subi aucun traitement thermique.

II. – En cas d’impossibilité de raccordement à un réseau d’eau destinée à la consommation humaine, le système est alimenté par un réseau d’eau qui respecte les conditions définies aux articles R. 1321-2 et R. 1321-3 pendant toute la période d’utilisation du système collectif de brumisation.

III. – Est interdit l’ajout de toute substance, mélange de substances ou préparation commerciale dans l’eau alimentant le système collectif de brumisation d’eau pour en modifier sa qualité physico-chimique, microbiologique, ou ses propriétés olfactives et visuelles, à l’exception des produits de traitement de l’eau destinée à la consommation humaine utilisés dans les conditions définies à l’article R. 1321-50.
