The centre’s operating procedures are the subject of an agreement between the Director General of the Regional Health Agency and the health establishment in which the centre is located and, where applicable, an agreement between the health establishment in which the centre is mainly located and the other establishments where the centre’s units are located. The latter agreement is approved by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency.

An annual work programme is drawn up jointly by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency, the Regional Director for Business, Competition, Consumer Affairs, Labour and Employment and the head of the centre, based on the health policy guidelines defined in article L. 1411-1. The head of the centre submits an annual activity report to these directors, which is forwarded to the ministers responsible for health, labour and the environment.
