Article R1423-30 of the French Labour Code

The first president of the court of appeal and the public prosecutor inspect the industrial tribunals within their jurisdiction.
They shall ensure, each to the extent to which he or she is concerned, the proper administration of the judicial services and the normal dispatch of cases. They may respectively delegate these powers for specific acts to judges or public prosecutors placed under their authority.
They report annually to the Minister of Justice on their findings.

Le premier président de la cour d’appel et le procureur général procèdent à l’inspection des conseils de prud’hommes de leur ressort.
Ils s’assurent, chacun en ce qui le concerne, de la bonne administration des services judiciaires et de l’expédition normale des affaires. Ils peuvent respectivement déléguer ces pouvoirs pour des actes déterminés à des magistrats du siège ou du parquet placés sous leur autorité.
Ils rendent compte chaque année au garde des sceaux, ministre de la justice, des constatations qu’ils ont faites.
