Article R1424-22 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

An internal regulation sets out the operating procedures of the fire and rescue service as well as the service obligations of the firefighters of the departmental fire brigade and the agents of the service who do not have the status of professional firefighter.

The chairman of the board of directors refers to:

– the territorial social committee for the provisions specific to civil servants;

– the departmental advisory committee of volunteer firefighters for the provisions specific to volunteer firefighters;

– the administrative and technical commission of the fire and rescue services for the provisions common to all firefighters as well as territorial civil servants of the fire and rescue service who do not have the status of professional firefighter.

The President adopts the internal regulations after deliberation by the Board of Directors.

Un règlement intérieur fixe les modalités de fonctionnement du service d’incendie et de secours ainsi que les obligations de service des sapeurs-pompiers du corps départemental et des agents du service n’ayant pas la qualité de sapeur-pompier professionnel.

Le président du conseil d’administration saisit pour avis :

– le comité social territorial pour les dispositions propres aux fonctionnaires ;

– le comité consultatif départemental des sapeurs-pompiers volontaires pour les dispositions propres aux sapeurs-pompiers volontaires ;

– la commission administrative et technique des services d’incendie et de secours pour les dispositions communes à tous les sapeurs-pompiers ainsi qu’aux fonctionnaires territoriaux du service d’incendie et de secours n’ayant pas la qualité de sapeur-pompier professionnel.

Le président arrête le règlement intérieur après délibération du conseil d’administration.
