Article R1451-13 of the French Public Health Code

I.-The compliance officer shall ensure that the authority or body to which he is appointed takes the appropriate measures to ensure that the declarations of interest of the persons subject to the obligation are collected and that the links mentioned therein are analysed. To this end, he shall propose to the person who appointed him the organisational measures required to comply with the obligations to declare links of interest and prevent conflicts of interest.

II – The compliance officer shall verify that the authority or body has put in place the appropriate measures to prevent or put an end to any situation of conflict of interest.

Article R1451-13

I.-Le déontologue s’assure que l’autorité ou l’organisme au sein duquel il est nommé prend les mesures appropriées pour garantir le recueil des déclarations d’intérêts des personnes qui y sont soumises et pour procéder à l’analyse des liens qui y sont mentionnés. A cet effet, il propose à la personne qui l’a nommé les mesures d’organisation nécessaires au respect des obligations de déclaration des liens d’intérêts et de prévention des conflits d’intérêts.

II.-Le déontologue vérifie que l’autorité ou l’organisme met en place les mesures appropriées pour prévenir ou faire cesser toute situation de conflits d’intérêts.
