Article R15-11 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The committee shall carry out or have carried out, either by one of its members or by rogatory commission, all useful investigative measures, in particular, if necessary, the hearing of the claimant who may be assisted by counsel of his choice. The Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation shall lodge his submissions with the secretariat at least twenty days before the date of the hearing.

Article R15-11

La commission procède ou fait procéder soit par l’un de ses membres, soit par commission rogatoire, à toutes mesures d’instruction utiles, notamment, s’il y a lieu, à l’audition du requérant qui peut se faire assister d’un conseil de son choix. Le procureur général près la Cour de cassation dépose ses conclusions au secrétariat vingt jours au moins avant la date de l’audience.
