Article R15-33-76 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The police services or gendarmerie units are required, at the request of the judicial authorities alone, to issue as soon as possible to the persons referred to in articles 16 to 29 who have been subject to the provisions of article 62-1 summonses from these authorities. They must likewise hand over any summonses to appear to which such persons may be subject.

When heard as witnesses before an investigating or trial court, persons who have benefited from the provisions of article 62-1 are authorised to continue to declare the address of the police service or gendarmerie unit as their domicile.

The provisions of this article are not prescribed on pain of nullity.

Les services de police ou les unités de gendarmerie sont tenus, à la demande des seules autorités judiciaires, de délivrer dans les meilleurs délais aux personnes visées aux articles 16 à 29 ayant fait l’objet des dispositions de l’article 62-1 les convocations émanant de ces autorités. Ils doivent de même remettre les citations à comparaître dont peuvent faire l’objet ces personnes.

Lorsqu’elles sont entendues comme témoins devant une juridiction d’instruction ou de jugement, les personnes ayant bénéficié des dispositions de l’article 62-1 sont autorisées à continuer de déclarer comme domicile l’adresse du service de police ou de l’unité de gendarmerie.

Les dispositions du présent article ne sont pas prescrites à peine de nullité.
