Article R15-33-8 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The Public Prosecutor at the Paris Court of Appeal grants or refuses authorisation by decree. Where he is considering refusing authorisation, he shall inform the interested party, specifying that he may, within a period of fifteen days, examine his file and be heard, where appropriate, with the assistance of counsel of his choice.

Le procureur général près la cour d’appel de Paris accorde ou refuse l’habilitation par arrêté. Lorsqu’il envisage de refuser l’habilitation, il en informe l’intéressé en lui précisant qu’il peut, dans un délai de quinze jours, prendre connaissance de son dossier et être entendu, le cas échéant, avec l’assistance d’un conseil de son choix.
