Article R15-7 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The chairman of the commission provided for in Article 16-2 and his alternate shall be appointed annually by the bureau of the Cour de cassation from among the members of the commission.

The secretary of the committee is appointed by the first president of the Cour de cassation from among the court registrars of that court.

Le président de la commission prévue à l’article 16-2 et son suppléant sont désignés annuellement par le bureau de la Cour de cassation parmi les membres de la commission.

Le secrétaire de la commission est désigné par le premier président de la Cour de cassation parmi les secrétaires-greffiers de cette juridiction.
