Article R151-1 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The provisions of this book are automatically applicable in Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Reunion Island, Mayotte and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, subject to the following adaptations:
1° References to the external borders of the States party to the convention signed in Schengen on 19 June 1990 are deleted;
2° References to the commander of the gendarmerie group are replaced by the reference to the territorially competent commander of the gendarmerie;
3° References to the commanders of the departmental gendarmerie group are replaced by the reference to the commanders of the territorial formation of the national gendarmerie based in the community.

Article R151-1

Les dispositions du présent livre sont applicables de plein droit en Guadeloupe, en Guyane, en Martinique, à La Réunion à Mayotte et à Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, sous réserve des adaptations suivantes :
1° Les références aux frontières extérieures des Etats parties à la convention signée à Schengen le 19 juin 1990 sont supprimées ;
2° Les références au commandant du groupement de gendarmerie sont remplacées par la référence au commandant de la gendarmerie territorialement compétent ;
3° Les références aux commandants de groupement de gendarmerie départementale sont remplacées par la référence aux commandants de la formation territoriale de la gendarmerie nationale implantée dans la collectivité.
