For the application of this book in New Caledonia:
1° References to the judicial court are replaced by reference to the court of first instance;
2° References to the prefect are replaced by reference to the high commissioner of the Republic in New Caledonia;
3° References to the agents and departments of the prefectures and sub-prefectures are replaced by reference to the agents and departments of the high commissioner of the Republic in New Caledonia;
4° References to Article R. 221-11 of the Code de l’action sociale et des familles and articles R. 221-15-1 to R. 221-15-9 of the same code are replaced by references to locally applicable provisions with the same purpose;

11° In Article R. 142-6, the provisions of 5° and 6° are not applicable and the references to the commander of the gendarmerie group are replaced by the reference to the territorially competent gendarmerie commander;
12° Article R. 142-43 is worded as follows:
