Article R1611-4 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The relationship between service providers who wish to accept personalised support cheques and the issuers is governed by a contract. This contract may stipulate maximum payment terms for service providers by the issuer, as well as the conditions under which the issuer may refuse to pay cheques wrongly accepted by the service provider.

Les relations entre les prestataires qui souhaitent accepter les chèques d’accompagnement personnalisé et les émetteurs sont régies par un contrat. Ce contrat peut prévoir des délais de paiement maximaux des prestataires par l’émetteur, ainsi que les conditions dans lesquelles l’émetteur peut refuser de payer des chèques acceptés à tort par le prestataire.
