The relationship between service providers who wish to accept personalised support cheques and the issuers is governed by a contract. This contract may stipulate maximum payment terms for service providers by the issuer, as well as the conditions under which the issuer may refuse to pay cheques wrongly accepted by the service provider.

Personalised support vouchers are presented by beneficiaries to service providers, who may only accept them in payment under the conditions laid down for their use by distributors, in particular with regard to the nature of the goods, products, or services that may be acquired. The service providers shall certify that they are used in accordance with these conditions, by affixing the statement provided for in III of article R. 1611-8.

Personalised support vouchers must be used by beneficiaries before 31 December of the year in which they are valid. Service providers present personalised support vouchers to the issuers for payment no later than 28 February following the year of their validity, failing which they will lapse definitively.
