Article R1613-16 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The State representative or, where applicable, the inspection mission provided for in article R. 1613-8 send the minister responsible for local authorities and the minister responsible for the budget an assessment of the damage caused by the event, a full list of the local authorities or groupings whose applications it is proposed be accepted, and a proposal for the total amount of subsidies that may be granted to local authorities in the same department.

Le représentant de l’Etat ou, le cas échéant, la mission d’inspection prévue à l’article R. 1613-8 adressent au ministre chargé des collectivités territoriales et au ministre chargé du budget l’évaluation du montant des dégâts causés par l’événement, la liste complète des collectivités ou groupements dont il est proposé de retenir la demande ainsi qu’une proposition sur le montant total de subventions susceptibles d’être accordées aux collectivités territoriales d’un même département.
