Article R1614-40 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Agreements between the State, on the one hand, and the department or the competent authority for the organisation of urban transport, on the other hand, may provide for:

1° The transmission of computerised media complying with the specifications of national information systems, as a replacement for standardised documents;

2° The adaptation of standardised documents to the specific statistical needs of the department or the competent authority for the organisation of urban transport.

Des conventions passées entre l’Etat, d’une part, et le département ou l’autorité compétente pour l’organisation de transports urbains, d’autre part, peuvent prévoir :

1° La transmission de supports informatiques conformes aux spécifications des systèmes d’information nationaux, en remplacement des documents normalisés ;

2° L’adaptation des documents normalisés aux besoins statistiques propres du département ou de l’autorité compétente pour l’organisation de transports urbains.
