Article R1614-80 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Investments for the purpose of building, renovating, restructuring, extending or making accessible as provided for in articles L. 111-7 to L. 111-7-4 of the Construction and Housing Code, for the benefit of annexes to municipal and inter-municipal libraries can only be taken into account if:

a) In municipalities or within public establishments for inter-municipal cooperation with fewer than 10,000 inhabitants, the surface area of the main or sector library to which the annex is attached is at least equal to the surface area determined under the conditions provided for in l’article R. 1614-79 and the surface area of the annex is at least 100 square metres;

b) In communes or within public establishments for inter-communal cooperation with at least 10,000 inhabitants, the surface area of the annex is more than 300 square metres, whatever the surface area of the main or sector library to which the annex is attached.

Les investissements ayant pour objet la construction, la rénovation, la restructuration, l’extension ou la mise en accessibilité prévu par les articles L. 111-7 à L. 111-7-4 du code de la construction et de l’habitation, au profit d’annexes de bibliothèques municipales et intercommunales ne peuvent être pris en compte que si :

a) Dans les communes ou au sein des établissements publics de coopération intercommunale de moins de 10 000 habitants, la surface de la bibliothèque principale ou de secteur à laquelle l’annexe est rattachée est au moins égale à la surface déterminée dans les conditions prévues à l’article R. 1614-79 et la surface de l’annexe est au moins égale à 100 mètres carrés ;

b) Dans les communes ou au sein des établissements publics de coopération intercommunale d’au moins 10 000 habitants, la surface de l’annexe est supérieure à 300 mètres carrés, quelle que soit la surface de la bibliothèque principale ou de secteur à laquelle l’annexe est rattachée.
