Article R212-10-5 of the French Sports Code

The jury :

1° Validates the certification tests conducted :

– either by its members ;

– or by the experts mentioned in R. 212-10-1 ;

– or by the training organisation, when the certification tests are delegated to it in application of article R. 212-10-8, where appropriate by asking one or more of its members or experts, in the case of certification tests delegated to the training organisation in application of article R. 212-10-8, to check that they are in order;

2° Decides whether to validate all or part of the experience acquired, after verifying that the experience described by the candidate in his or her application corresponds to the skills required by the regulations governing the diploma in question;

3° Adopts the results, irrespective of the certification method used :

– capitalisable units (UC) making up the professional certificate, professional diploma, State diploma and higher State diploma in youth, popular education and sport (CPJEPS, BPJEPS, DEJEPS, DESJEPS);

– or complementary certificates that may be associated with them;

– or, where applicable, blocks of skills.

Capitalisable units are awarded in accordance with the certification reference framework defined in articles D. 212-23, D. 212-38 and D. 212-54 set by order of the ministers responsible for youth and sport and whose acquisition is verified by certification tests.

Article R212-10-5

Le jury :

1° Valide les épreuves certificatives conduites :

– soit par ses membres ;

– soit par les experts mentionnés au R. 212-10-1 ;

– soit par l’organisme de formation, quand les épreuves certificatives lui sont déléguées en application de l’article R. 212-10-8, le cas échéant en demandant à un ou plusieurs de ses membres ou à des experts, en cas d’épreuves certificatives déléguées à l’organisme de formation en application de l’article R. 212-10-8, la vérification de leur conformité ;

2° Se prononce sur la validation intégrale ou partielle des acquis de l’expérience après avoir vérifié si les acquis dont fait état le candidat dans son dossier correspondent aux compétences exigées par le règlement du diplôme visé ;

3° Arrête les résultats, quelles que soient les modalités de certification retenues :

– des unités capitalisables (UC) constitutives du certificat professionnel, brevet professionnel, diplôme d’Etat et diplôme d’Etat supérieur de la jeunesse, de l’éducation populaire et du sport (CPJEPS, BPJEPS, DEJEPS, DESJEPS) ;

– ou des certificats complémentaires qui peuvent leur être associés ;

– ou, le cas échéant, des blocs de compétences.

Les unités capitalisables sont attribuées selon le référentiel de certification défini aux articles D. 212-23, D. 212-38 et D. 212-54 fixé par arrêté des ministres chargés de la jeunesse et des sports et dont l’acquisition est contrôlée par des épreuves certificatives.
