Article R212-21 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The programming contract, concluded between a group and the exhibitors of cinematographic establishments who are members or between the members of an agreement, provides for :
1° A term of performance which may not exceed three years and the conditions for its renewal;
2° A period for termination and a period of notice in the event of non-renewal;
3° The conditions for determining the programming fee;
4° Provisions to ensure the protection of the interests of exhibitors who, having been members of a group or an agreement, cease to be members.

Le contrat de programmation, conclu entre un groupement et les exploitants d’établissements de spectacles cinématographiques qui en sont membres ou entre les membres d’une entente, prévoit :
1° Une durée d’exécution qui ne peut être supérieure à trois ans ainsi que les conditions de sa reconduction ;
2° Un délai de dénonciation et un délai de préavis en cas de non-reconduction ;
3° Les conditions de détermination de la redevance de programmation ;
4° Des stipulations propres à assurer la défense des intérêts des exploitants qui, après avoir été membres d’un groupement ou d’une entente, cessent d’en faire partie.
