In order to be approved, programming commitments must contribute to:
1° Encouraging the exhibition and promotion of European cinematographic works and cinematographic works that are not widely distributed, in particular by reserving them a significant share of cinemas;
2° Guaranteeing pluralism in the cinematographic distribution sector, in particular by encouraging the maintenance of a diversified network of distribution companies and the broadcasting of arthouse cinematographic works;
3° Guarantee the diversity of cinematographic works offered to viewers and pluralism in the cinema exhibition sector, in particular by limiting the simultaneous showing of a cinematographic work in the same cinema, in an appropriate manner when the projection is digital;
4° To significantly encourage the free promotion of all scheduled cinematographic works, in particular by showing their trailers in the promotional areas of cinematographic establishments.
