Article R2123-3 of the French Public Health Code

The term of office of the full and alternate members of the committee is three years. They are renewable. In the case of the members mentioned in 3° of article R. 2123-2, the term of office ends when the representative loses the capacity for which he was appointed.

If one of its members ceases to be a member of the Committee of Experts, he shall be replaced within one month.

In this case, the new member’s term of office ends on the date on which that of the member he has replaced would have ended.

Le mandat des membres titulaires et suppléants du comité est de trois ans. Il est renouvelable. En ce qui concerne les membres mentionnés au 3° de l’article R. 2123-2, il prend fin lorsque le mandataire perd la qualité au titre de laquelle il a été désigné.

Lorsque l’un de ses membres cesse d’appartenir au comité d’experts, il est pourvu à son remplacement dans un délai d’un mois.

Dans ce cas, le mandat du nouveau membre prend fin à la date à laquelle aurait cessé celui du membre qu’il a remplacé.
