Article R2145-5 of the French Labour Code

The interested party is notified of the refusal of the economic, social, environmental and trade union training leave by the employer within eight days of receipt of the request.

In the event of a dispute, the adjudication board of the industrial tribunal to which the matter has been referred in application of article L. 2145-11 will make the final decision, in accordance with the accelerated procedure on the merits.

Le refus du congé de formation économique, sociale, environnementale et syndicale par l’employeur est notifié à l’intéressé dans un délai de huit jours à compter de la réception de sa demande.

En cas de différend, le bureau de jugement du conseil de prud’hommes saisi en application de l’article L. 2145-11 statue en dernier ressort, selon la procédure accélérée au fond.
