Article R221-14 of the French Tourism Code

Any professional legally established in another Member State of the European Union or party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area who engages, on a temporary and occasional basis, in the practice of the profession of guide-conférencier must include a reference to the professional title he holds in the State of establishment or to his training qualification on documents intended for third parties, whatever the medium. He shall indicate this qualification to the natural or legal persons mentioned in Article L. 221-1 who use his services, as well as to the person in charge of the museum or historic monument visited.

The title is indicated in the official language of the State of establishment.

Le professionnel légalement établi dans un autre Etat membre de l’Union européenne ou partie à l’accord sur l’Espace économique européen qui se livre, de manière temporaire et occasionnelle, à l’exercice de la profession de guide-conférencier fait figurer la mention du titre professionnel qu’il détient dans l’Etat d’établissement ou de son titre de formation sur les documents destinés aux tiers, quel qu’en soit le support. Il indique ce titre aux personnes physiques ou morales mentionnées à l’article L. 221-1 qui utilisent ses services, ainsi qu’au responsable du musée ou monument historique visité.

Le titre est mentionné dans la langue officielle de l’Etat d’établissement.
