The centres must meet the following conditions:
1° Be run by a doctor who is either a qualified specialist or qualified in medical gynaecology, obstetrics or obstetric gynaecology, or who holds a diploma of complementary specialised studies in reproductive medicine and medical gynaecology; if it is not possible to recruit a doctor who meets these conditions, a waiver may be granted by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency to a doctor with specific knowledge of gynaecology and birth control;
2° Have at least one person for their consultations, on a permanent basis, who is competent in marital and family counselling;
3° If the needs of the population so require, be assisted by a midwife, a nurse, a social service assistant and a psychologist;
4° Not include in their management and supervisory staff or in their technical staff any person who has been convicted of acts contrary to honour, probity or morality or of an offence under Title II of Book II of this Part and Chapter IV of Title III of Book IV of Part V of this Code;
5° Comply with the technical conditions for installation and operation laid down by order of the Minister for Health.
