At least half of the members of the Boards of Directors or, failing that, of the management bodies of social institutions other than those mentioned in the second paragraph of Article R. 2312-37 are members representing the Social and Economic Committee. The same applies to the control or supervisory committees of these institutions. These members may be chosen from outside the committee and appointed preferably from among the members or beneficiaries of the institutions.
The representatives of the Social and Economic Committee on the Board of Directors of cooperative and consumer societies are chosen from among the members of the society.
The representatives of the Social and Economic Committee on the boards or bodies mentioned in the first paragraph sit with the same rights and under the same conditions as the other members.
