Article R2335-11 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Consumption of water distributed by connections with a diameter greater than forty millimetres is subject to an annual flat-rate assessment by the distributor, verified by the technical service responsible for inspection.

Consumption thus determined gives rise to the application of the tariff provided for in article L. 2335-13.

Les consommations d’eau distribuée par des branchements d’un diamètre supérieur à quarante millimètres font l’objet d’une évaluation forfaitaire annuelle par le distributeur, vérifiée par le service technique chargé du contrôle.

La consommation ainsi déterminée donne lieu à l’application du tarif prévu à l’article L. 2335-13.
