Article R241-17 of the French Sports Code

The person concerned may be represented by a person of his or her choice. He may also be assisted by one or more persons of his choice. If the person concerned does not sufficiently speak or understand the French language, he may, at his request, be assisted by an interpreter at the expense of the agency.

L’intéressé peut être représenté par une personne de son choix. Il peut également être assisté par une ou plusieurs personnes de son choix. S’il ne parle ou ne comprend pas suffisamment la langue française, il peut bénéficier, sur sa demande, de l’aide d’un interprète aux frais de l’agence.
