The quantitative and qualitative information sent to the Banking Inclusion Observatory pursuant to Article L. 312-1-1 B relates in particular to access to deposit accounts, means of payment, credit, savings and the implementation of the banking accessibility charter and the banking inclusion and overindebtedness prevention charter referred to in Articles L. 312-1 and L. 312-1-1 A respectively.
The list, content and procedures for transmitting this information, in particular the frequency with which it is provided, are set by an order of the Minister for the Economy on a proposal from the Observatory. This information shall focus in particular on the banking inclusion of persons in a situation of financial fragility.
The Observatory may also request information from other persons or organisations with competence in the area of banking inclusion and the fight against exclusion.
The Banque de France collects and statistically processes the information sent to the Observatory on its behalf.
