Article R313-11 of the French Consumer Code

The creditor or credit intermediary shall explicitly indicate to the borrower whether it offers the advisory service referred to in Article L. 313-13.
Before the conclusion of the contract relating to this service, it specifies, on paper or on any other durable medium:
1° Whether it is an independent adviser referred to in article L. 313-14;
2° If the recommendation made in the context of this service relates to the borrower’s own range of products or to a wide range of credit agreements available on the market;

3° Whether the borrower will have to pay a fee in return for this service and, if so, the amount of this fee or, if this amount cannot be determined with certainty at the time the information is provided, how it will be determined.

Article R313-11

Le prêteur ou l’intermédiaire de crédit indique explicitement à l’emprunteur s’il propose le service de conseil mentionné à l’article L. 313-13.
Il précise, avant la conclusion du contrat portant sur ce service, sur support papier ou sur tout autre support durable :
1° S’il s’agit d’un conseil indépendant mentionné à l’article L. 313-14 ;
2° Si la recommandation faite dans le cadre de ce service porte sur sa propre gamme de produits ou sur une large gamme de contrats de crédit disponibles sur le marché ;
3° Si l’emprunteur devra acquitter des frais en rémunération de ce service et, le cas échéant, le montant de ces frais ou, si ce montant ne peut être déterminé avec certitude au moment de la fourniture des informations, son mode de détermination.
