Article R323-3 of the French Tourism Code

The residential tourist village is managed by a single person under a rental contract for a period of at least nine years. During this period, the owners of the premises may benefit from a priority reservation right for a limited period during the year.

Le village résidentiel de tourisme est géré par une seule personne dans le cadre d’un contrat de location d’une durée au moins égale à neuf ans. Durant cette période, les propriétaires des locaux peuvent bénéficier d’un droit de réservation prioritaire pour une période limitée à l’intérieur de l’année.
