Article R323-5 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The designation provided for in the second paragraph of I of Article L. 132-20-1, in the second paragraph of I of Article L. 132-20-3, in the third paragraph of I of Article L. 132-20-4, in the second paragraph of I of Article L. 217-2, the second paragraph of I of article L. 217-4 and the third paragraph of II of article L. 217-5 shall be made by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt addressed to a collective management organisation.

Withdrawal may be made under the conditions laid down in the articles of association of that organisation.

La désignation prévue au deuxième alinéa du I de l’article L. 132-20-1, au deuxième alinéa du I de l’article L. 132-20-3, au troisième alinéa du I de l’article L. 132-20-4, au deuxième alinéa du I de l’article L. 217-2, au deuxième alinéa du I de l’article L. 217-4 et au troisième alinéa du II de l’article L. 217-5 se fait par lettre recommandée avec avis de réception adressée à un organisme de gestion collective.

La rétractation peut être effectuée dans les conditions prévues par les statuts de cet organisme.
