Article R331-48 of the French Sports Code

Athletes, judges, referees, trainers, organisers and, in general, any person involved in the organisation of these events must comply with the rules laid down by the federations in application of article R. 131-32 and, where they exist, with the provisions laid down by order of the Minister for Sport aimed at limiting the risks to which the practice of combat sports exposes participants.

Les sportifs, juges, arbitres, entraîneurs, organisateurs et, d’une manière générale, toute personne concourant à l’organisation de ces manifestations doivent respecter les règles édictées par les fédérations en application de l’article R. 131-32 et, lorsqu’elles existent, les dispositions prises par arrêté du ministre chargé des sports visant à limiter les risques auxquels la pratique des sports de combat expose les participants.
