Article R3333-4 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The fee due each year to a department for the occupation of the departmental public domain by the works of the public electricity transmission and distribution networks is set by the departmental council within the following annual ceiling:

PR = (0.045 7 P + 15,245) euros,

where P represents the sum of the populations without double counting of the communes in the department as they result from the latest census published by INSEE.

The ceilings for the fees mentioned in this article change on 1 January each year, in proportion to the change in the engineering index, defined in the Journal officiel of 1 March 1974, measured over the twelve months prior to the publication of the index known on 1 January.

La redevance due chaque année à un département pour l’occupation du domaine public départemental par les ouvrages des réseaux publics de transport et de distribution d’énergie électrique est fixée par le conseil départemental dans la limite du plafond annuel suivant :

PR = (0,045 7 P + 15 245) euros,

où P représente la somme des populations sans double compte des communes du département telles qu’elles résultent du dernier recensement publié par l’INSEE.

Les plafonds de redevances mentionnées au présent article évoluent au 1er janvier de chaque année, proportionnellement à l’évolution de l’index ingénierie, défini au Journal officiel du 1er mars 1974, mesurée au cours des douze mois précédant la publication de l’index connu au 1er janvier.
