Article R3413-5 of the French Public Health Code

A relay doctor may ask the Director General of the Regional Health Agency to be removed from the list by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. He shall immediately inform the magistrates responsible for monitoring the cases of the persons for whom he has been designated as the relay doctor, as well as the doctors that these persons have chosen for their medical care.

Withdrawal takes effect at the end of a period of three months from the date of receipt of the request.

Un médecin relais peut demander au directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé son retrait de la liste par lettre recommandée avec accusé de réception. Il en informe sans délai les magistrats chargés de suivre les dossiers des personnes pour lesquelles il avait été désigné médecin relais, ainsi que les médecins que ces personnes ont choisis pour leur prise en charge médicale.

Le retrait prend effet au terme d’un délai de trois mois à compter de la date de réception de la demande.
